Ben is a data-driven technology leader, database architect, software builder, and startup CTO with 12+ years of experience designing systems that turn complex information into usable insight. His background spans SQL Server, Oracle, data modeling, ETL/ELT, warehousing, analytics, automation, business intelligence, software development, and technology strategy.
Across his career, Ben has worked at the intersection of data, software, operations, and healthcare, building systems that are not only technically sound, but practical, scalable, and useful to the people who depend on them. His experience includes leading development for early-stage companies, managing small engineering teams, building software systems in lean startup environments, and wearing the many hats required to take products from idea to execution.
Before stepping into broader technology leadership, Ben spent years in healthcare analytics, where he managed and delivered self-service analytics platforms built on best-practice warehousing systems. That work shaped his approach: clean data structures, reliable reporting, thoughtful architecture, and tools that empower users to answer important questions without depending on endless manual support.
At Practice Now, Ben serves as Director of Product Development, bringing that same blend of technical depth, product thinking, and disciplined problem-solving to healthcare technology. His focus is on building powerful, user-friendly systems that improve access to information, support better decisions, and keep Practice Now’s technology at the forefront of healthcare IT.
